Jody Schauer has had an extensive work experience in the field of education and coaching. Currently, they are working as a Physical Education Instructor at Queen Creek Unified School District since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Sultan Middle School from 2001 to 2021, where they taught physical education, weight training, and health to sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. Jody also served as the Head Basketball Coach and Head Football Coach during their time at Sultan Middle School.
In addition, Jody Schauer has worked as the Head Women's Basketball Coach at Kamiak High School from 2007 to 2011, where they coached the varsity girls basketball team and achieved playoff appearances and a state tournament appearance. Jody also worked as a Physical Education Instructor at Gold Bar Elementary School from 2002 to 2007, where they taught physical education to kindergarten through fifth grade and organized various school events.
Furthermore, Jody Schauer coached the varsity girls basketball team as the Head Women's Basketball Coach at Lynnwood High School from 2004 to 2007, achieving playoff appearances. Prior to that, they worked at Sultan Senior High School from 1999 to 2007, where they served as an Assistant Track and Field Coach, coaching jumpers and throwers, and later as a Physical Education Instructor teaching various subjects and implementing new fitness courses.
Jody also gained experience as the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Grace Academy High School from 2002 to 2004 and as a Physical Education Instructor at Edmonds School District from 1993 to 2004, where they taught health education and various skills to students.
Furthermore, Jody Schauer worked as the Head Football Coach at Monroe Middle School from 2000 to 2001 and as the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Monroe High School from 1999 to 2001.

Jody Schauer obtained a Masters of Education in Instructional Technology with a field of study in Educational/Instructional Technology from American InterContinental University in 2004. Prior to that, Jody completed a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with a field of study in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from North Dakota State University in 1992. In September 2014, Jody also obtained the Washington State Continuing Teaching Certificate with endorsements in 4-12 Health and K-12 Physical Education from the Washington State Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).
