Alumni Engagement Manager, Volunteering at Queen Mary University

Queen Mary University's Alumni Engagement Manager (Volunteering), New role, has an extensive and accomplished work history. They served as the Deputy President and Deputy Vice-Chancellor at The University of Manchester from August 2002 to August 2017. In this role, they had several key responsibilities, such as providing overall leadership and operational management across the entire University, working closely with the University’s Executive Team to develop and deliver the overall strategy, being the Deputy Chair of the University Senate and a member of the Board of Governors, and chairing or being the deputy chair of multiple executive committees. They also served as the overall lead for internationalisation, marketing and branding, cultural institutions, and a number of University estates projects.
