Hitomi Iwasaki

Hitomi Iwasaki currently serves as the Director of Exhibitions and Programs at the Queens Museum, a position held since 2020. Prior to this role, Iwasaki was the Director of Exhibitions/Curator from 2008 to 2019 and worked as both an Assistant Curator and Curatorial Assistant from 1996 to 2007 at the same institution. Iwasaki's academic background includes a Master's degree in Museology/Museum Studies from New York University (1991-1994) and post-graduate studies in Western Art History and Museum Studies at The City College of New York (1994-1996). Additionally, Iwasaki completed undergraduate studies at Kyoto Seika University from 1980 to 1984.
