Yara Findlay

Yara Findlay is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in marketing and brand development. Currently serving as Communications Manager at Queen's University since December 2021, Yara oversees strategic marketing and communication initiatives for Housing & Ancillary Services. Prior to this role, Yara co-founded and managed BOHO & HOBO, an environmentally focused brand distributing sustainable products. As Marketing Communications Manager for the Community Foundation for Kingston & Area from May 2016 to December 2020, Yara developed a comprehensive marketing strategy that enhanced the organization's brand identity. Yara's background in real estate includes successful roles as a Realtor at Valhalla Path Realty and Re/max RHC Realty, where recognition for superior sales performance was achieved. Educational credentials include a Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations from St. Lawrence College and multiple certifications in Real Estate Trading Services from Sir Sandford Fleming.
