Dawn Bleyenburg

Dawn Bleyenburg is the Director of the Center for Public Health Continuing Education (CPHCE) at the University at Albany School of Public Health. She is serving her first term on the Board of Education.

Bleyenburg earned her master’s degree in School and College Health Education and a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist.

She is the treasurer and member of the executive board for the NYS Public Health Association. She is also serving a term as board director for the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing. She previously was a Northeast Public Health Leadership Institute Scholar and an Americorps Promise fellow in 2010 and 2001, respectively.
