Queensland Ballet
Mark Leung serves as the Academy Pianist at Queensland Ballet since January 2018, providing accompaniment for various ballet classes and utilizing Dorico Pro for music notation. Prior to this role, Mark operated as a self-employed piano accompanist from July 2017 to January 2018, supporting instrumental and vocal music assessments and rehearsals, as well as ballet classes and exams. Mark's extensive career at IBM spanned nearly three decades, where roles included Software Developer and Software Tester, focusing on automated testing and support for various applications. Additionally, Mark has experience as a piano accompanist for performances at CQUniversity Australia and worked as a dance accompanist at the Australian Dance Performance Institute. Mark holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Russian Language from the University of Bristol, alongside educational experiences at Sevenoaks School and St Paul's Co-educational College in Hong Kong.
