Roger Cui

Roger Cui is an accomplished pianist and educator with extensive experience in performance and leadership roles. Currently serving as Principal Pianist and Company Pianist at Queensland Ballet since July 2023, Roger has also held the position of Guest Principal with Queensland Symphony Orchestra since October 2019. As Artistic Director and Co-Founder of Ladybugs Studio, Roger specializes in Film Music Scoring and Sound Engineering. Previous appointments include Head of Piano at Coffs Harbour Regional Conservatorium Inc and Researcher PhD Candidate at Queensland Conservatorium of Music, where Roger earned the title of Doctor of Arts in Piano Performance. With a foundational education in piano from esteemed institutions, including a Master's Degree from Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe and a Bachelor's Degree from Griffith University Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Roger's diverse skill set encompasses performance, teaching, and strategic development in various business contexts.
