Deborah Sparks

Deborah Sparks has extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as Head of Department for Humanities and Social Science and Master Teacher at the Queensland Department of Education since 1992. Additionally, Deborah has held the role of Humanities Curriculum Coordinator and has worked as a History and Humanities teacher. Since 2011, Deborah has contributed as an Ancient History Panellist for the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA). Previously, from 1999 to 2004, Deborah served as Curriculum Leader for History and Social Studies at Fairfax County Public Schools.
