George Higgins

George Higgins serves as the Head of Faculty for Mathematics and SAT Preparation Program Coordinator at St Margaret's Anglican Girls School since March 2017, alongside roles such as Astronomy Coordinator and Secondary Teacher. In addition to this position, George has been an External Exam Marker and Physics Confirmer for the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) since November 2019, and was a Mathematics C Panelist from 2018 to 2019. A brief teaching exchange occurred at St Hilda's Anglican School for Girls in July 2019. Earlier experience includes working as a Secondary Teacher for the Department of Education and Training in Queensland and as an Undergraduate Civil Engineer at Civil Contractors (Aust) P/L. George holds a Master of Education in Leadership and Management, a Graduate Diploma in Education focused on Physics and Mathematics, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Civil Engineering and International Business, all from Queensland University of Technology.
