Jennifer Johnstone

Jennifer Johnstone serves as the Head of Department of Mathematics at Moreton Bay College since January 2017, and also fulfills roles as Lead Teacher for Physics and Mathematics and Duke of Edinburgh Coordinator. Since January 2020, Jennifer has contributed to the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) as an External Marker for Physics and an Assessor and Lead Confirmer for Mathematical Methods. Jennifer previously held the position of Head of Department at St John's Lutheran School from January 2012 to December 2016 and served as Indigenous Coordinator and Teacher at Kingaroy State High School from January 2008 to December 2011. Earlier in their career, Jennifer was a Mathematics Teacher at Grace Lutheran College from January 2002 to April 2006. Educational credentials include a Master of Education from Flinders University, and dual Bachelor degrees in Education and Applied Science from Queensland University of Technology.
