Bridget Woods

Bridget Woods is an experienced tourism and business professional currently serving as Deputy Director General - Tourism for the Queensland Government since September 2025. Prior to this role, Bridget held significant positions including Director of Destination Development at NEOM and Director of Tourism and Events at Townsville Enterprise. Bridget has also operated as Director/Owner of the Portal Hotel and managed operations at Tinbilly Travellers. Earlier career experience includes serving as Key Account Manager at Southern Cross Austereo. Bridget holds a Master of Business Administration from James Cook University, with a focus on Business and Conflict Resolution, completed between 2015 and 2018.
