Di Farmer has extensive experience in government roles, currently serving as the Minister for Education and Minister for Youth Justice in the Queensland Government since February 2015, alongside representing as the Member for Bulimba. Previously, Di Farmer held several ministerial positions including Minister for Employment, Small Business, Training and Skills Development, and Minister for Child Safety, Youth and Women and Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence. Prior to these roles, Di Farmer was a Principal at Diriger Consulting and served as the Member for Bulimba from March 2009 to March 2012. Additional experience includes executive roles at the Department of Local Government, Planning, Sport and Recreation. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Speech Therapy from The University of Queensland and a Postgraduate Diploma of Administrative Studies from Queensland University of Technology.
