James Hearn

James Hearn is a Senior Finance Officer with the Queensland Government since 2025 and serves as an Infantry Soldier in the Australian Army from 2023. Hearn previously held the position of Group Financial Controller at Healthia Limited Australia from 2024 to 2025 and worked as a Management Accountant for the Queensland Government from 2023 to 2024. Earlier experience includes roles as an Asset Accountant at Collins Foods Limited and Business Services at Hall Chadwick. Additionally, Hearn worked in Business Advisory at Baker Tilly from 2017 to 2021 and as a Veterinary Nurse at Rochedale Vet from 2015 to 2017. Academic qualifications include an Associate degree from CPA Australia, a degree in Business and Commerce from the University of Southern Queensland, and a degree in Electrotechnology from TAFE Queensland.
