Lisa Pomery

Lisa Pomery is an experienced professional in information security and healthcare governance, currently serving as Manager Information Security and ISMS lead for the Queensland Government. Previous roles include Director of Projects, CEO/General Manager, and Senior Computer Programmer at Ey3 - Web, Database & Information Systems, as well as various academic positions, such as Course Coordinator, Lecturer, and Tutor at Griffith University. Lisa's background includes work as a Clinical Project Scientist at the Health Protection Agency and a Medical Laboratory Scientific Officer for Public Health England. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy at the Queensland University of Technology, Lisa focuses on innovation in information security within healthcare governance, building on a Graduate Certificate in Health Services Innovation completed in 2023.
