Peter Lacey

Peter Lacey is an experienced executive in procurement and public policy, currently serving as Acting Deputy Director-General at the Department of Housing and Public Works since November 2024. With a career spanning over two decades, Lacey has held various significant roles, including Executive Director of Procurement Policy at the Department of Energy and Climate, where responsibilities included leading the Queensland Government's procurement functions and providing support for quality outcomes. Lacey's expertise extends to compliance, risk management, and strategic sourcing across multiple departments, including the Department of Communities and Queensland Health.
