Peter le Clercq

Peter Le Clercq is an experienced executive with a robust background in leadership across various government sectors in Queensland. Currently serving as Executive Director for the Queensland Government since February 2019, Peter leads teams in Finance, HR, Research, Analytics, Strategy, and Innovation for an independent agency. Prior roles include Director of HR at the Department of Local Government, Racing and Multicultural Affairs, and key positions at the Department of Education and Training, and the Department of Transport and Main Roads, where responsibilities encompassed workforce strategy, business improvement, and project management. With a solid educational foundation, including an Executive MBA and a Bachelor of Business in Human Resource Management, Peter also completed the Company Director's Program at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
