Melissa Maclean is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in mental health, wellbeing, and safety management within the rail industry. Currently serving as the Senior Advisor for Mental Health and Wellbeing at ARTC - Inland Rail since September 2018, Melissa also holds the role of Program Safety Advisor. Prior to this, Melissa was involved in health, safety, and environmental systems coordination for ARTC's Inland Rail Programme, effectively engaging operational teams to enhance safety practices. Additional experience includes work as a WHS Focus Group Facilitator at Laing O'Rourke, where Melissa contributed to the review of the company’s safety philosophy, and roles at The Miraa House and Leighton Contractors. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours Class I) from The University of Queensland and various certifications in work health and safety and business.
