Kevin Jones

Kevin Jones is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in senior financial management roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Queensland Rail since May 2025, Kevin has previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at SA Power Networks from March 2020 to December 2024 and at Sydney Water from March 2017 to December 2019, where Kevin also briefly acted as Interim Chief Executive Officer. Prior roles include Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary at Yarra Valley Water and Group Finance Manager at Water Corporation. Kevin's career began with positions such as Financial Controller at Welsh Assembly Government and Financial Accountant at Welsh Development Agency. Kevin holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia and a BA (Hons) in Humanities from the University of South Wales, along with an ALCM in French Horn Performance from the University of West London.
