David Merrett

David Merrett is a seasoned professional in the water and infrastructure sector, currently serving as Program Director - Infrastructure Delivery at Queensland Urban Utilities since January 2017. With a robust background, David has held various significant positions including QLD Branch Committee Member for the Australian Water Association and Independent Water & Wastewater Consultant at Downer. Prior to these roles, David was a Technical Director - Water Infrastructure at AECOM Australia Pty Ltd and spent over a decade at Cardno in multiple leadership roles, overseeing major projects such as the Mackay Infrastructure Alliance and the Logan Water Alliance. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from University College Swansea.
