Kate van Coevorden

Kate Van Coevorden serves as the General Manager of People and Capability at Urban Utilities since January 2022, focusing on enhancing community liveability and improving employee and customer experiences. Prior to this role, Kate held positions at Aurizon as Manager of People & Change and at Southeastern Grocers as Senior Director of Human Resources, where significant contributions were made to one of the largest supermarket chains in the U.S. Earlier experiences include various managerial roles at Coles, including National Recruitment Transformation Manager, and positions in human resources and recruitment at Spirit Hotels and Coles Myer. Kate holds a Master's degree in Business with a specialization in Human Resource Management from Queensland University of Technology.
