Kim Fenton

Kim Fenton currently serves as the Learning and Capability Lead at Urban Utilities since February 2023, following a significant tenure at Unitywater from March 2009 to February 2023, where Kim held roles including Culture & Leadership Development Specialist and Learning and Development Programs Manager. At Unitywater, Kim played a pivotal role in establishing the learning and development function, achieving recognition as Employee of the Year in 2013/14 and developing nationally recognized programs focused on employee competency, language, literacy, and numeracy. Kim's extensive experience is complemented by active participation in several industry committees and numerous speaking engagements, showcasing expertise in training and development strategies within the water sector and local government. Kim's prior roles include Team Leader for Learning and Development at Caboolture Shire Council and Event Manager at Farm Fantastic, contributing to a diverse skill set grounded in effective training program management and strategic operational planning. Kim holds a Diploma in Company Directors from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, completed in 2008.
