Tim J.

Tim J. currently serves as the Head of Cyber Security at Urban Utilities since March 2022 and previously held the role of Lead Cyber Security Advisor. Prior experience includes working as a Security Specialist at Esri Australia and as a Casual Academic at the University of Southern Queensland. Tim has also worked as a Senior Security Engineer at Security Centric and as a Senior Systems Engineer at Thales, where responsibilities included completing various stages of the Systems Engineering life-cycle and maintaining secure network environments. Earlier in the career, Tim was a Senior Analyst Programmer at Heritage Bank, focusing on the design and implementation of secure processing systems. Tim J. holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Science from UNSW and a First Class Honours Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Information Technology from the University of Southern Queensland.
