Paula Archambault

Paula Archambault currently serves as the Director of Emergency Department and Critical Care at Queensway Carleton Hospital since May 2023. Prior experience includes multiple leadership roles at The Ottawa Hospital from 2012 to 2023, including Clinical Manager, Director of Maternal Newborn Services, and Clinical Telemedicine Program Coordinator. From 2008 to 2012, Paula was the Store Forward Manager at the Ontario Telemedicine Network, focusing on managing asynchronous telemedicine service innovation. Educational qualifications include a Master of Health Management from McMaster University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Ottawa, and a Registered Nurse diploma from Halifax Infirmary School of Nursing, along with studies at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa. Current projects involve teledermatology, teleophthalmology, teleauscultation, and wound care.
