Daniela Penston

Daniela Penston is a seasoned professional in non-clinical development and cancer immunotherapy with extensive experience in the biotechnology and research sectors. Currently serving as Senior Lead Non-Clinical Development at Affimed since June 2021, Daniela previously held various positions at Autolus Ltd. from June 2017 to May 2021, progressing from Research Scientist to Senior Scientist II. Daniela's academic background includes a PhD in Cancer Research focused on CAR T-cell immunotherapy from King's College London, as well as a role as Research Associate in the same field at the institution from January 2013 to June 2017. Additional experience includes a Research Assistant position at the National Center for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases and an MSc in Molecular Medicine from Imperial College London.
