Marco Romano

Marco Romano has extensive work experience in the field of research and scientific development. Marco is currently employed as a Senior Scientist at Quell Therapeutics since January 2022. Before joining Quell Therapeutics, Marco worked at King's College London as a Research Associate from May 2017 to February 2019 and again from March 2019 to January 2022.

Marco Romano began their education in 2004 at the Università del Salento, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biotecnologie in 2009. Marco then pursued further studies at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and earned a Master's degree in Medical Biotechnology from 2008 to 2011. Continuing their education at the same institution, Marco received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biomedical Science from 2012 to 2014.
