Dr. Martin Seeger

EHS Senior Consultant at Quentic

Dr. Martin Seeger has a diverse range of work experience. From January 2023, they have worked as an EHS Senior Consultant at Quentic. Prior to this role, they worked as an HSE Consultant at the same company from August 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining Quentic, Dr. Seeger served as a Leitender Qualitätsmanager, Laborleiter, and Projektmanager at Blue Biolabs from August 2018 to July 2021.

From August 2015 to September 2016, they worked as a wiss. Angestellter / stellv. Koordinator at the Helmholtz Graduate School for Macromolecular Bioscience (MacroBio). In this role, they were involved in financial and personnel resource planning, process evaluation, event planning, report writing, managing a publication database, designing the institute's website, and producing semi-professional photographs and graphics for scientific publications.

Dr. Seeger also gained experience as a Studentische Hilfskraft at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht Zentrum für Material- und Küstenforschung from October 2007 to May 2009. In this position, they supported the management representatives with tasks such as research, presentation creation, data processing, and website maintenance.

Dr. Martin Seeger began their education at the Freie Universität Berlin from 2004 to 2010, where they obtained a Diplom degree in Biochemie. In 2009, they completed their Diplomarbeit at The Rockefeller University, specifically in the Laboratory of RNA Molecular Biology under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Thomas Tuschl. Additionally, in 2008, they worked at Monash University at the Institute of Medical Research with Prof. Dr. Bryan Williams and the National University of Singapore at the Department of Biochemistry with Prof. Dr. Markus Wenk.

Later, Dr. Seeger pursued their doctoral studies at the Freie Universität Berlin from 2010 to 2018, specializing in Strukturbiologie. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained Eingeschränkte Sachkunde nach § 5 der Chemikalien-Verbotsordnung from the Freie Universität Berlin in February 2006, and Fachkunde Strahlenschutz in October 2013.
