Ashutosh Kumar is a seasoned professional in the field of quantum computing and theoretical chemistry, currently serving as a Quantum Computing Consultant at QuEra Computing Inc. since February 2025. Prior experience includes roles as a Quantum Algorithm Developer at Photonic Inc. and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Los Alamos National Laboratory and Virginia Tech. At Virginia Tech, Ashutosh contributed to research under the supervision of Dr. Edward Valeev, following a tenure as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant and a Summer Intern focused on solvation studies using advanced computational techniques. Earlier internships at Kiel University involved investigating energy decay mechanisms in enzymes. Ashutosh holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry from Virginia Tech and an Integrated Master of Science in Industrial Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
