Quercus, based in New Orleans, LA, is a full-service, boutique design studio serving SMEs locally and globally led by Mary Louise Killen.

WHAT WE DO
Quercus is a creative, full-service design studio based in New Orleans growing diverse universities & schools, not-for-profits, and start-ups & historic brands. We are known for bringing brand management and unexpected storytelling to life by incorporating strategic concepts and captivating visuals. We build brand equity and stellar results for any brand, product, service, or audience.

HOW WE WORK
Whether it’s a wide-eyed start-up, a school with a rich history, or a not-for-profit fighting climate change, every brand has a story to tell. And all it takes is the right focus to bring that story to life. We focus on building beautiful brand equity backed by stellar results by developing genuine partnerships with our clients.

WHO WE ARE
Detail-oriented designers, empathetic writers, and big-picture problem-solvers work with local and national clients. We craft brand identities, campaigns, digital design, editorial design, experiential design, and packaging design. With a focus on strategy, design, and creative direction, we connect consumer culture with daring clients across print, web, and social platforms – for today’s demands and tomorrow’s opportunities.

Psst… Quercus, pronounced kwur·kuhs, is the Latin genus for “Oak Tree.” As a youth, Mary Louise, the Founder, often played in a 150+ year-old Oak tree — her first studio high above her backyard!
