Alpar Solyom

Alpar Solyom is a seasoned logistics professional with extensive experience in strategic leadership and network optimization within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Network Planning & Optimization at Quest Diagnostics since December 2012, Alpar directs the logistics network, focusing on technology integration and process improvement. Previously held the role of Senior Director of Logistics, overseeing a $77M division and a team of 900 across six states, while also generating additional revenue through strategic logistics deployment. Earlier positions included managing significant logistics operations and leading teams through complex integrations at Quest Diagnostics, as well as a role as Lead Supervisor at UPS, where a safety-first culture was fostered. Alpar holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MS in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University, an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, an MS in Healthcare Leadership from Weill Cornell, and a BA in Mathematics from Southern New Hampshire University.
