Sean Mersten

Sean Mersten serves as the VP and Corporate Secretary at Quest Diagnostics since April 2023. Prior to this role, Sean held several positions at Synchrony Financial, including SVP, Senior Counsel for Securities and Finance, and Corporate & Securities Counsel from September 2014 to April 2023. Sean's experience includes serving as Corporate & Securities Counsel at GE Capital from September 2014 to November 2015 and as an Associate at Jones Day from October 2009 to September 2014. Earlier in Sean's career, a role as an Investigative Analyst was held at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office from June 2005 to June 2006. Sean earned a law degree from Fordham University School of Law and completed undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania, following graduation from Stuyvesant High School.
