Yvette joined Capricorn in 2019 as one of the key people managing the Capricorn Sustainable Chemistry Fund. Building businesses-with-a-purpose by driving innovation is Yvette’s passion and the common thread throughout her career. Having spent a decade building operational and managerial business capabilities at Royal DSM and Shell International Chemicals in various roles (including product development, procurement, sales and global product portfolio management), Yvette moved into venture capital in 2008. During her seven years at SET Ventures, she invested in sustainable energy technology companies. She then joined the European Investment Fund as the head of Social and Environmental Impact. Today, she remains connected to the for-purpose investment community through the IC of the WIRE Private Markets Fund (a fund-of-funds).
Yvette has an MBA from IESE Business School and is a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering (Delft University of Technology).

Quest for Growth focuses on innovative companies in areas such as digital technologies (ICT), technologies for the healthcare sector (Health-tech) and clean technology (Cleantech). Quest for Growth has been listed on Euronext Brussels since 23 September 1998.
