Patrick N. Forrest

Patrick N. Forrest has a long and varied career in both the public and private sectors. Patrick N. began their career in 2003 as a Presidential Transition Team Member for the US Department of Homeland Security, and then moved on to become Associate Chief in the Office of Legislative Affairs and Associate Counsel in the Office of Chief Counsel for USCIS. In 2008, they joined the U.S. Coast Guard as a Judge Advocate General (Attorney). In 2009, they were appointed as a Fulbright Research Chair in North American Studies at Fulbright Canada and was also the Associate Director of the Institute for Crisis Disaster and Risk Management at George Washington University. In 2012, they became the Director of Homeland Security Programs at American Military University. In 2013, they were appointed Deputy General Counsel and Vice President of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM). In 2015, they became the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of the Manufacturing Institute. Patrick N. also became a Senior Fellow at the Center for Cyber & Homeland Security at George Washington University in the same year. In 2019, they became the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Quest for Justice.

Patrick N. Forrest obtained a BA in English Language and Literature/Letters from Virginia Military Institute between 1995 and 1999. Patrick N. then attended Syracuse University College of Law, where they earned a JD between 2000 and 2003. Afterwards, they pursued an LLM in Litigation and Dispute Resolution at George Washington University, College of Law from 2003 to 2004.
