Irene Filakouridou has over 23 years of work experience, primarily with Attica Bank. Irene started their career in 1999 as an Officer in the Loans Section of Amarousio Branch. From there, they held various roles within the bank, including Secretary to Chairman & CEO, Officer in the Credit Control & Collateral Management Department, Senior Officer in the Leasing & Factoring Department, and Deputy Manager of the Leasing & Factoring Department. In 2011, they became the Deputy Manager of the Compliance Department and later transitioned to the role of Assistant Director in the Compliance and Corporate Governance Division. Irene'sexpertise in compliance and corporate governance led their to become the Head of the Regulatory Monitoring Unit in 2016. Irene joined Quest Holdings SA in 2022, where they currently serve as the Group Corporate Governance & Quality Officer.
Irene Filakouridou's education history begins with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of Athens School of Law, Economics and Political Sciences - Faculty of Law, which they obtained from 1994 to 1999. Irene then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Piraeus, Department of Business Administration, from 2007 to 2009.
In 2012 to 2014, Irene completed their Master's degree in International Business Law and Economics from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences - Department of IR & European Studies. Following this, they pursued an M. Sc. in Banking and Financial Law from the University of Piraeus from 2017 to 2018.
Currently, Irene is a Ph.D. candidate in Public Law - Banking Law at Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon.
Additionally, Irene has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they received the CFE certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Further, in February 2023, they obtained the ISO 9001 Lead Auditor - Quality Certification from the IRCA | International Register of Certificated Auditors & TUV NORD.
