Vassilis Giannopoulos

Vassilis Giannopoulos has a diverse and extensive work experience in various industries. Vassilis started their career in 1995 as a Software Engineer at 01 PLIROFORIKI SA. Vassilis then moved on to Forthnet in 1997, where they held multiple roles including Account Manager, Product Manager, Group Product Manager, and Business Unit Manager. From 2002 to 2011, they worked at Forthnet Group, initially as the Group Strategy Manager and Head of CEO Office, and later as the Strategy Director. During this time, they were responsible for assessing the overall business situation, defining financial parameters, and coordinating interdepartmental projects. In 2010, they also served as a Member of the Board for ECTA, a telecoms association promoting competition in Europe. In 2011, Vassilis worked as a Special Advisor to the Deputy Minister of Administrative Reform & Electronic Gov in the Greek Government. In 2012, they co-founded CrossAppz and served as the CEO, focusing on cross-platform application development and ICT consulting services. Lastly, since 2013, Vassilis has been working at Quest Holdings SA as the Strategy & Business Development Director, assisting in revenue generation strategies and the overall growth of the organization.

Vassilis Giannopoulos obtained their MEng in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, where they studied from 1988 to 1994. Vassilis then pursued an MSc in Information Technology at UCL from 1994 to 1995. Later, Vassilis completed their MBA in Business Administration at Alba Graduate Business School, where they attended from 1999 to 2001. Prior to these higher education experiences, Vassilis attended 2nd Lyceum Nea Philadelphia from 1986 to 1988, although no degree or field of study is specified for this period.
