Sonja Schmid PhD is an experienced Associate Editor at Nature Research since May 2016. Previously, Sonja served as a Research Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from April 2009 to May 2016, overseeing student and technician research while teaching medical students about cost-effective diagnostic methods for infectious diseases.
