I B Saravanan has a diverse work experience in the events and conferences industry. I B began their career as a Consulting Editor at ICFAI Business School Research Centre, where they developed over 40 case studies on international business movements and strategies. I B then moved on to Roof & Facade Asia, where they served as a Managing Editor, overseeing the editorial team and organizing industry events.

In 2009, Saravanan joined IQPC as a Conference Director, producing conferences for the building and construction industry. I B later became a Portfolio Director at IQPC Worldwide, overseeing portfolios in the oil and gas and civil infrastructure sectors.

Saravanan joined Singapore Exhibition Services in 2014 as the Director of Conferences, responsible for launching new conferences and growing existing ones in the O&G and manufacturing shows. I B later took on the role of Director of Conferences (Special Projects), focusing on large-scale, multi-tracked conferences and major exhibitions.

Currently, Saravanan is with Questex as the Vice President & Market Leader, heading the events business across Asia. I B is responsible for growing the profile-centric/ICT and hospitality segments into new markets. I B is also involved in integrating market-leading hospitality investment events and overseeing the business's P&L.
