Atena Longo

Atena Longo has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Atena has worked as an English Second Language Teacher at Comune di Milano since February 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Creative Writer at Questo, where they created fictional city games for tourists. Atena also has experience as a Blogger, Creative and Content Writer, and Translator as a freelancer for http://literarymeditations.com/ from September 2016 to January 2022, where they focused on writing original and creative content on literary subjects. Atena was an Intern at HPC Italia from March 2019 to January 2020 and worked on the translation of the book 'Human-Centered Work' by Edoardo Turelli, from Italian to English. Atena also worked as an Executive Assistant at ROELMI HPC for a few months in 2018. In 2017, they worked as a Visitor and Sales Assistant at the Royal Museums Greenwich, where they provided customer assistance and conducted real-time interpretation and translation for foreign guests. Atena also volunteered at The National Archives, UK, where they worked on the creation of a catalogue about historic seals and conducted research on historic objects. Prior to that, Atena worked as an Assistant Manager at The Natural Kitchen (Trinity Square) and as a Supervisor at "rhubarb" from 2013 to 2016.

Atena Longo obtained a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in English Language and Literature/Letters from King's College London from 2013 to 2016. In 2018 to 2019, they pursued a diploma in Waste Management at Fondazione Green. Atena also holds additional certifications including a Certificate of Proficiency in English from Cambridge University Press & Assessment English, obtained in December 2022; a CELTA certification from Cambridge Assessment English, obtained in August 2020; a Safety training certification from Fondazione Green - Energia Sostenibile | Ambiente | Edilizia, obtained in January 2019; and an IELTS certification from the British Council, obtained in July 2013.
