Robert Harrop has a diverse range of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. đŸ’¥Robert started their career at PROVISTA Software Inc. in 1997 as the Director of Project Delivery. đŸ’¥Robert then moved on to Nhancement Technologies, where they served as the Director of Operations for North America from 1998 to 2000. Harrop then joined iVendor, Inc. as the Vice President of Ecommerce from 2000 to 2001.

After that, they worked at Vital Network Services, Inc. as the Vice President of North America from 2001 to 2004. From 2004 to 2006, they held the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager at CypherEdge Technologies. đŸ’¥Robert continued their career at Vital Network Services as the Vice President from 2006 to 2008.

In 2008, they joined Bridgepointe Technologies as the CIO Strategic Advisor. đŸ’¥Robert then founded their own company, Invive Technology Advisors, in 2009, where they served as the Founder and CEO. In 2011, Harrop joined Silicon Valley Bank as the CIO Strategic Advisor, Sr. Network Operations Manager, and later as the CIO Strategic Advisor and Senior Director of IT Engineering and Operations from 2013 to 2017.

Harrop's most recent position was at Quest Media & Supplies, Inc. as the CIO Strategist and Technology Advisor, which they held since 2017. Overall, they have accumulated extensive experience and expertise in technology strategy, leadership, and operations throughout their career.

Robert Harrop attended San Diego Mesa College from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Business. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN in March 2016. đŸ’¥Robert also obtained various certifications from Google, including Agile Project Management in May 2022, Project Execution: Running the Project, Project Initiation: Starting a Successful Project, and Project Planning: Putting it all Together in February 2022, and Foundations of Project Management in August 2021. Furthermore, they obtained certifications from Coursera, including AWS Fundamentals Specialization in March 2021, AWS Fundamentals: Addressing Security Risks, AWS Fundamentals: Migrating to the Cloud, IT Project Management, AWS Fundamentals: Building Serverless Applications, and AWS Fundamentals: Going Cloud Native in 2021. Lastly, they obtained the Talkdesk Channel Partner Certification from Talkdesk in March 2020.
