Fabio Bernal

Fabio Bernal has extensive work experience in software engineering. Fabio is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Queue-it. Prior to this, they served as a Staff Software Engineer and Team Leader at Linkfire, where they worked on various technical and business projects, collaborated with product owners and company leaders, and played a key role in improving team effectiveness.

Before joining Linkfire, Fabio worked as a Senior .NET Developer at Globant, where they contributed to projects for Jefferies and Deloitte. At Jefferies, they built an onboarding form to comply with banking regulations, while at Deloitte, they worked on an internal API integration.

Earlier in their career, Fabio worked as a Software Engineer at Intergrupo, where they designed and developed a web application for Avianca using the WCAG 2.0 a11y standard. Fabio also gained experience as a Junior Software Engineer at Legis S.A., where they developed a Windows Phone app and provided support for multiple web apps.

Fabio's journey in software development began at Mainsoft, where they worked as a Junior Software Developer for Intersoft and LEGIS. During this time, they contributed to the development of a project called SIR that managed processes for Compensar.

Fabio Bernal earned a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Libre in 2013. Fabio later completed a Software Engineering Specialist program at Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas in 2015. In terms of additional certifications, Fabio obtained the certifications "MS: Programming in C#" and "MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional" from Microsoft in 2013. In 2016, they also obtained the certification "Server-side Development with NodeJS" from Coursera Course Certificates.
