Dee Yeum

Dee Yeum is a Quantitative Developer at Queueco since July 2023, specializing in building high-frequency trading engines. Prior to this role, Dee served as a Functional Programming Teaching Assistant at the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh, where a £22,000 grant was received to develop property-based testing software in Haskell. Dee also contributed as a Programming Language Research Assistant, focusing on the client-side runtime of Links, funded by LFCS and UKRI. Previous professional experiences include software development roles at Queueco, Viapontica AI, and SymbaSync Ltd., along with an open-source development position during the MLH Fellowship. Leadership skills were demonstrated as Vice President of CompSoc, where a budget of over £30,000 was raised. Dee received a Bachelor of Science in Informatics from the University of Edinburgh, graduating in 2023.
