Quick Inklaringen is a service provider in the field of all activities related to import, export and logistics. We are a customs clearance company consisting of certified customs brokers who have the knowledge and skills to handle your customs clearance of goods as quickly as possible.

In Suriname it is a requirement that your trade goods, or cargo with a CIF value (cost, insurance, freight) higher than USD 400, are released through the intervention of a customs broker, the so-called clearing agent. The clearing agent acts as an intermediary between customs on the one hand and importers and exporters on the other.

With the many documents that have to be filled in and various rules and regulations that you have to adhere to, it is not always easy to arrange all your affairs properly. Or to ensure that your cross-border transactions run optimally. That's where we can be of service to you. Quick Inklaringen has a lot of experience in dealing with customs legislation, all possible restrictions for import and export, transit, temporary import and customs warehouses.

The activities of the clearing house generally look like this:
- Classification of commodity code for the application of the correct rates of import duty;
- Preparation of various documents intended for customs;
- All communications with customs, for example explaining any ambiguities;
- Application and application of (exemption) decisions on cargo;
- assist customs in the inspection of the cargo.

Since its foundation on 14 July 2005, the owner, Hedwich M. Gilaard, has always ensured that Quick Inklaringen is aware of the latest legal developments. This guarantees that any advice from our company is based on the most recent legal developments. Our skills and competences are constantly evolving to respond to new needs of our customers. Our mission is to be at the forefront when it comes to customs matters.
