Tom Mishteler is a skilled engineer with diverse experience in the aerospace and technology sectors. Currently serving as a System Engineer at Quick Release since March 2022, Tom co-founded D-TECK AI, where efforts focused on developing an AI and computer vision-based system aimed at preventing drownings in backyard swimming pools from July 2019 to March 2022. Tom's background includes roles as an Avionics Engineer and Systems Engineer at Boeing, a Design Engineer at Jacobs, and an Engineering Intern at Nova Systems. Additionally, Tom worked as a Student Systems Engineer in QUT's UAV Remote Sensing Division, contributing to the development of UAV technology. Tom holds an Honours degree in Aerospace and Electrical Engineering from QUT and completed a program in Architecture and Systems Engineering at MIT xPRO.
