QuickGig connects college students with individuals and small businesses in their area who need help on short notice — moving a couch, setting up an event, tutoring, tech support, running an errand. The core difference from Craigslist, TaskRabbit, or Facebook Marketplace is simple: every worker is a verified, active university student. That one constraint solves most of the trust, safety, and quality problems that have plagued peer-to-peer gig platforms for years.
A few things I care about with this build:

Safety — two-sided ratings, student verification, and consumer-side insurance
Fair partnerships with universities, not extraction
A product that actually feels good to use on both sides of the marketplace
