Joseph Franklin has worked in various roles within the technology industry since 1998. Joseph began their career as a Technical Support Specialist at NCR Corporation in 1998. In 2001, they moved to Wincor Nixdorf as a Senior Projects Engineer. In 2005, they became an Incident Manager at Ongame Network. In 2006, they were an IT Service Continuity Manager, Change Manager, and Incident Manager at bwin.party digital entertainment. In 2007, they were a Change Manager at bwin Games AB. In 2017, they were a Business Development Manager and Project Manager at Quickspin. Since 2019, they have been the Director of Commercial Operations & Business Development and Director of Business Development at Quickspin.

Joseph Franklin obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology from Solent University between 1995 and 2000. Joseph also holds an ITIL Practitioner Release & Control certification from itSMF USA.
