Rick Simoni has extensive work experience in the field of sales training and operations. Rick has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. Rick started their career as the Director of Sales Training at Johnson & Johnson, where they were responsible for sales and product launch training for the ophthalmic division. Rick then worked as a Sales Training Consultant at Performance Management and as the National Training Manager at Toshiba America Medical Systems.

In 1995, Simoni became a University Instructor at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, where they taught professional and advanced professional sales courses. Rick received an Outstanding Faculty Award from the American Marketing Association during their time there.

Simoni later joined Valeant Pharmaceuticals as the Director of Sales Training and Operations, and then moved on to Elan Pharmaceuticals as the Director of Sales Training. Rick served in these roles for several years before founding their own company, The Sales Co., in 2008. As the President of The Sales Co., Simoni designed and delivered sales training programs in multiple industries, including the Life Sciences. Rick also created several innovative training courses and strategies and was recognized as a top Sales Training Analyst by Vendor Neutral.

Simoni's most recent role was at Quidel, where they served as the Director of Sales Training starting in 2020. Rick is also a Founding Member of the Sales Enablement Society, a professional organization dedicated to advancing the field of sales enablement.

Throughout their career, Simoni has demonstrated expertise in sales training, program analysis, certification, and launch strategies. Rick has received recognition for their contributions to the field of sales enablement and has a proven track record of developing and delivering successful sales training programs.

Rick Simoni graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona in 1983. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications in customer experience, training development, sales, presentation skills, and management from institutions such as UC Irvine, The Bob Pike Group, AchieveForum, and more.
