Rodney Guzman has a diverse and extensive work experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Rodney is currently serving as the VP of Software Engineering, R&D at Quidel, leading a team responsible for various software projects, including consumer-based mobile experiences, cloud-based test result surveillance, IoT fleet management, embedded firmware, and middleware solutions. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director of Software Engineering - Digital Health at Quidel, where they led a similar team.
Before joining Quidel, Guzman co-founded and served as the CTO of InterKnowlogy, where they specialized in web, mobile, and serverless cloud compute. Rodney also co-founded XenoHolographic, where they developed an AR content delivery platform. In addition, they had the experience of working at Stellcom as a Principal Software Engineer, where they contributed to the development of a security framework.
