Kevin Brooks

Kevin Brooks is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in information systems management. Currently serving as Chief Information Officer at Quikrete since November 2020, Kevin has previously held senior roles at Books A Million from September 2001 to October 2020, including SVP, CIO, VP of Application Development, and Director of IT, where responsibilities encompassed software development and management for retail, wholesale, and financial systems. Prior experience includes Director of Applications and Director of Technical Services positions at Crown Books, overseeing corporate and store systems, as well as managing IT for the Museum Shops division at the Smithsonian Institution from 1991 to 1995. Kevin holds a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from the University of Maryland, earned between 1986 and 1991.
