Kamren Kowa

Kamren Kowa has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Kamren worked as a Resident Assistant at UNC Asheville from August 2009 to May 2010. Kamren then joined Moog Music Inc as a Production Technician from July 2010 to August 2014, where they were involved in assembling, calibrating, testing, packing, shipping products, and modifying circuits. Kamren later joined Benefitfocus in July 2015 as an Operational Support Engineer, responsible for resolving data issues and providing custom reporting. From March 2018 to February 2020, they transitioned to the role of Database Engineer at Benefitfocus, focusing on building and maintaining data structures, optimizing processes, and improving efficiency. Most recently, Kamren is working at Quility Insurance, where they held the position of Database Engineer from March 2020 to September 2021, Department Head of Data Engineering from September 2021 to August 2022, and currently serves as the Director of Data Engineering.

Kamren Kowa attended North Carolina State University from 2013 to 2015 as an undergraduate engineering student, specializing in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2011, Kamren earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Music Technology from the University of North Carolina Asheville.
