Andrew Schwartz has been working in the field of education for over two decades. Andrew began their career as an editor at The College Board, where they worked for 17 years. During their time there, they were responsible for writing and reviewing thousands of assessment items for the SAT and PSAT, ensuring the highest quality for high-stakes assessments. Andrew also served as a team lead for several SAT and PSAT math forms, and was responsible for guiding the form through the entire process from initial version to final review. In 2009, they were part of the 12-member team that developed the Common Core College- and Career-Readiness Standards for Mathematics, which served as the top-level anchor for the Common Core State Standards. Andrew also worked on the development of the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics from 2009 to 2010. In addition to their work at The College Board, Andrew has also worked as a freelance editor, editing hundreds of textbooks, academic monographs, reference works, and journal articles in a wide range of subjects. Andrew has worked for major clients including Macmillan, Routledge, Academic Press, American Mathematical Society, and Addison-Wesley.

Andrew Schwartz has a Ph.D. from Harvard University in Mathematics, a BA from Queens College in Mathematics, as well as various Data Science and Machine Learning certifications from LinkedIn.
