Hakim YOUCEF has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. Hakim began their career as an R&D Training at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) and Technicolor. In 2010, they became an R&D Engineer at IMT Atlantique. In 2012, they took on a similar role at Missouri University of Science and Technology. In 2014, they began working as a Telecoms & low latency Network Engineer at McKay Brothers, a Market data Network Engineer at Quincy Data, and a Lecturer at IPB - Institut Polytechnique de Bordeaux.
Hakim YOUCEF obtained a Master's degree in Networks and Communication Systems from INSA Rennes between 2008 and 2010. Hakim then went on to pursue a PhD degree in Digital Wireless Transmission for Underwater Acoustic Communication Systems from IMT Atlantique between 2010 and 2013. In 2006, they obtained CCNA1 & CCNA2 certifications from the Tlemcen Cisco Academy.
